Locum Physician Dr. Terry Clare is at the Health Centre Mondays and Tuesdays through to July 27th. He will also be in the Clinic on Monday, August 16th and Monday, August 23rd.

Appointments Monday - Friday 9:00 am -12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Most appointments will be conducted by phone. Please don't come to the Clinic without an appointment.

The Health Centre's Primary Health Care is provided by Theresa Walters, Nurse Practitioner (Lyndsay Lazzarotto, NP, currently covering for Ms. Walters). Locum Physician Dr. Terry Clare is in the Health Centre Mondays and Tuesdays until July 27th. The Health Centre also provides Foot Care, Public Health Immunization Clinics, and Acupuncture services provided by Melanie McLeod, Registered Acupuncturist. Melanie is starting her own practice in Salmon Arm in July, and will cease to provide Acupuncture services effective Wednesday, June 30th. The Community Health Centre provides primary health care for people of all ages and families in the communities of the South Shuswap. Those with chronic diseases, people with mental health and addiction issues as well as those without a primary health care provider have access to primary health care right in the community. People who are currently attached to a physician are encouraged to continue with their health care provider. However, if you are looking for a new provider, call to inquire about how to become a patient.
